Betty Louise Weaver

Age 85, Elkton, Va.

Betty Louise Weaver, 85, of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her home. She was born July 25, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Daniel Rudd and Orpha Grimm Rudd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Weaver.

Betty loved to play bingo, embroider and working in her flower garden. She was a member of the Elkton Pentecostal Church for many years. Whenever she could, she loved to take trips on Skyline Drive with her family. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by sons, Gary R. Rife of Shenandoah, Earl O’Neil and wife, Shannon of Maryland, George Rife of Florida, George Thomas Starnes of Maryland; daughter, Debbie Knight and husband, Wayne of Shenandoah; brother, Charles Badders (Jimmy) of Maryland, grandchildren, Lisa Garney and husband, Casey, Robin Alger; number of other grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va.
