Meet Big Country!

Big Country

Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets

from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.

This is Big Country!

He is an approximately 3 year old male that was brought to the shelter after being found on a citizen’s porch. We were told he was feral, but, upon further inspection, we found that he most certainly is not.

Big Country was even given extra special appreciation from his vet because of what a sweet lug he is. If she had had the space, she would’ve adopted him herself, but instead she has insisted we give him the most loving home we can find for him!

Big Country is certainly a funny character. He has this croaky voice that is just so amusing. Anytime he wants love, affection, or food, you’ll hear this noise and think “is that the door squeaking?” — only to find that is was Big Country all along. If we’re being totally honest, he sounds like a kitty that’s picked up a pack of Marlboros!

He’s a mellow fella who’s sweet and loving. We love him to bits and wouldn’t have it any other way!
