July 19, 1962 — The Luray Boat Club is rapidly becoming one of the major sporting activities in this section.
There are some 40 members with crafts which would do credit to any popular beach or lake front. There is skiing and racing most Sunday afternoons.
Members bring their families and picnic tables. Floating docks and other facilities are set up for their convenience.
Local people would do well to take a look at the Luray Boat Club located at the old rock quarry on the Brubaker land.
