September 12, 1986 — A state ABC official will evaluate a charge of lewd and disorderly conduct against Boot Hill Sept. 25 in a disciplinary hearing at the Page County Courthouse.
In the second week of August, two female undercover ABC agents filed a report in Richmond alleging that Hangar Club dancers and patrons at Boot Hill came into improper physical contact Aug. 8.
In mid- August, ABC spokesman Charles Donato hinted that the alleged violation involved improper physical contact.
“It is my understanding that there was some (physical) contact between patrons and dancers,” Donato said. ABC regulations prohibit “the fondling or caressing of any person, whether an entertainer or not …”
