July 27, 1961 — Earl and Jimmy Kibler, operators of the Center Market on East Main Street, Luray, have just completed installation of a 2-1/2 HP 20,000 BTU “Welbilt” air conditioner that comfortably cools their entire store.
The unit was furnished by Richmond Food Stores, Center Market’s purchasing affiliate.
This is another step in the modernization of what has become one of Page County’s fastest growing food retailers.
