Computer stolen at LES

July 10, 1986 — Thieves broke into Luray Elementary School over the weekend and stole $1,500 in computer equipment, according to Investigator R.B. “Butch” Fleharty of the Luray Police Department.

Stolen items include a Commodore computer, a printer, a monitor and a disk drive. Fleharty said the thieves broke a window to gain access to the building.

“Physical evidence was recovered from the scene,” the investigator added.
