Connie Jean Shenk Walters, 70, of Stanley, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.
She was born on January 11, 1956, and was a daughter of Shelvia Jean Comer Shenk and the late Melvin Lee Shenk.
Connie retired from Wrangler with 25 years of service.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Danny Walters and wife Bernadette, and Jonathan Walters; three sisters, Teresa Ann Shenk, Melinda Shenk and Victoria Buracker; a brother, Ralph Shenk; one half-brother, Michael Shenk; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Wayne Shenk and Charles Sorrells; and one half-brother, Mark Shenk.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Josh Parlett, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
