Delmas Franklin Cubbage

Delmas Franklin Cubbage, age 73, of Stanley, Va. died Saturday, December  5, 2020 at Sentara R.M.H.

He was born on June 4, 1947, in Stanley, Va., son of the late Rufus Franklin and Elva Blanche (Lucas) Cubbage.

Delmas was a poultry farmer and life-long member of the Lucas Hollow Mennonite Church.

On Dec. 18, 1972, he married Doris Ann (Cubbage), who survives.

Also surviving are five brothers, Johnny Cubbage, Steven Cubbage, Tony Cubbage all of Stanley, Va., Mark Cubbage of Harrisonburg, Va., and Matthew Cubbage of Hickory, N.C.; two sisters, Joyce McDonald of Elkton, Va. and Virginia Louise Ray of Stanley, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ralph Cubbage and Jimmy Cubbage.

The family will receive friends at Lucas Hollow Country Church from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

A funeral service will be held at Lucas Hollow Country Church at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December  9, 2020. Burial will be at Leake’s Chapel Cemetery, in Stanley, Va.

Memorials may be made to Lucas Hollow Country Church Food Pantry.

Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
