Donald Lee Stanley, 80, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born on January 23, 1946, in Shenandoah and was a son of the late Ernest David Stanley and Myrtle Tappy Stanley.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Army.
On April 3, 1981, he married Nancy Richards Stanley, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by seven children, Sabrina Stanley of Stanley, Donald Lee Stanley Jr. of Shenandoah, Melanie Nicholson of Luray, Harry St. Clair Jr. of Luray, Darren St. Clair of Luray, Brian St. Clair of Shenandoah, and Laurie Hensley of Elkton; two sisters, Barbara Lansberry of Rileyville, and Carolyn Huffman of Luray; three brothers, Charles Ray Stanley of Luray, and Roy Dale Stanley and William Stanley, both of Stanley; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, David Ernest Stanley, Alvin Stanley, Larry Stanley and Johnny Stanley; and four sisters, Mary Moubray, Phyllis Stanley, Lois Breeden and Geraldine Cave.
Services will be held at Culpeper National Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
