Donnie Lee Good, 70, of Luray, passed away at his home on December 31, 2023, following a brief illness. He was born on February 18, 1953, and was the son of the late Bobby Lee and Flora Ellen Good.
A lifelong resident of Page County, Donnie was a longtime Master Plumber for Breeden Mechanical Inc. He was also a master tinkerer who could design, build or repair most anything imaginable.
He was a devoted husband and father, a fun granddad, and a loyal friend to all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by a son, Joey Good.
On September 2, 2012, Donnie married his beloved wife, Glenda Mae Good, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, David and wife Kelly of Elkton; a daughter, Laura Kalama and husband Ryan of San Clemente, CA; a stepson, Dexter Meadows of Harrisonburg; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Smoot; two sisters, Valerie Burch and husband David, and Vanessa Peters and husband Ed; six grandchildren, Kylie, Parker, Megan, Gracie, Dylan, Emil and Kainoa; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Donnie’s Life and Eternal Homecoming will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Painter’s Woods located at 160 Painter’s Woods Road, Luray, VA 22835.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
