Doris Crist Buracker, 73, of Stanley, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She was born on May 5, 1953, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late Samuel Crist Sr. and Nannie Viola Grimsley Crist.
Doris retired from Masonite Corporation and was a member of the New Market Eagles.
Doris is survived by a daughter, Lesley Dawn Pettit and husband Jeff of Stanley; a son, Scott Buracker of Stanley; a sister, Catherine Good of Luray; and three grandchildren, Nevaeh Pettit, Drake Pettit and Zoey Buracker.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Kibler; and a brother, Samuel Donald Crist Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at Lake Arrowhead in Luray by Evangelist Doug Gochenour.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
