Age 90, Luray, Va.
Doris Lee Turner Dovel, 90, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.
She was born on February 23, 1936, and was a daughter of the late Riley Leon Turner and Flossie May Good Turner.
Doris was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Dovel; a daughter, Bernice Shelton; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles “Buddy” Turner and Thurston Turner; and three sisters, Betty J. Griffith, Sharon Lam and Dorothy J. Bell.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
