Age 74, Luray, Va.
Douglas William Silvious, 74, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021.
He was born on Sept. 6, 1946, in Virginia and was a son of the late Isaac Silvious and Ruth Hinegardner Silvious.
Douglas worked for G.E.I. as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 2010 with 20 years of service.
He is survived by his companion, Ruby Lee Campbell of Luray; a daughter, Vicky Lynn Stroupe of Luray; a son, Charlie Silvious of Luray; a stepson, Michael Broyles of Luray; a sister, Bonnie Williams of Luray; a brother, Charlie Silvious of Luray; three grandchildren, Brandon Stroupe, Kayla Riley and Tiffany Silvious Cadalzo; and four great-grandchildren, Mikeal Cadalzo, Kyson Cadalzo, Braxton Riley and Monroe Riley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Silvious.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
