Age 89, Luray, Va.
Drexel Eugene Judd, 89, of Luray, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Life Care Center in New Market. He was born February 5, 1934 in Page County and was the son of the late John Lewis Judd and Nina Lichliter Judd.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Edwin Judd and Timmy Judd.
Mr. Judd served two years in the United States Army from 1956 through 1958. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. Mr. Judd was also a member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge and AMVETS.
On August 27, 1961 he married Barbara Hughes Judd, who survives. He is further survived by sons, David Judd (Kathleen), Larry Judd, Greg Judd (Mandy); seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Sentara RMH Medical Center and Life Care Center in New Market for all the kindness and care that was given to Mr. Judd.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va.
