WINCHESTER  The Lord Fairfax Health District will offer Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccination at no cost to the recipient, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Thursday, June 17, at the Page County Health Department, 75 Court Lane, Luray.

“We are pleased to offer the single-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine to interested persons age 18 and over,” said Lord Fairfax Health District Director Colin Greene. “We have made wonderful progress against COVID-19, but about half the population still remains unvaccinated, so COVID-19 is still a risk for illness, hospitalization, and death. Let’s wipe this disease out together.”

This vaccine is intended for eligible persons 18 and older who have had no history of severe reactions to vaccines.  Individuals who are ill or who believe they require medical evaluation should contact their personal healthcare provider.

The Lord Fairfax Health District serves residents in the city of Winchester and Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren counties. For more information, visit www.vdh.virginia.gov/lord-fairfax/
