Dylan Wayne Lawson, 22, of Stanley, Virginia, passed away on June 8, 2026, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
He was born on June 21, 2003, in Harrisonburg, Virginia,
Dylan was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team. He enjoyed watching Moonshiners, listening to bluegrass music, and spending time around derby cars.
He is survived by his mother, Becky Hilliard; his father, Kevin Lawson; his sister, Michelle Lawson; his uncle, Chris Hilliard; his grandparents , Kandy and Michael Hilliard and Wanda J. And Benny Lawson
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Forward for Christ Baptist Church.
A memorial service celebrating Dylan’s life will follow at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Forward for Christ Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Josh Parlett.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
