Eddie Dee Anderson, 61, of Stanley, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1962, in Page County and was a son of Gayle Sours Anderson-Wyatt of Luray and the late Henry Pettit. He was raised by G.R. Anderson Jr. of Luray.
On July 2, 1994, Eddie married Karen Annette Griffith Anderson, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his mother and his wife are a daughter, Felicia Anderson and companion Adam Price of Stanley; four sisters, Teresa Dodson and Charlie Pettit, both of Luray, Lori Vanfossen of Shenandoah, and Susannah Henry of Stanley; four brothers, G.R. Anderson III of Luray, and Matt Pettit, Adam Pettit and Eddie Pettit, all of Stanley; and two grandchildren, Tanner and Haylee Price.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the Rileyville Baptist Church by the Rev. Dan Ellis.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
