Ellary Katherine Cubbage Owens, 79, of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
She was born on October 24, 1943, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Clyde Carson Cubbage and Edith Sevilla McCoy Cubbage.
Ellary attended Ida Grove Gospel Chapel.
On October 10, 1963, she married Richard Darrnell Owens, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Craig Owens and wife Terri, and Darrell Owens, all of Stanley; a daughter, Melissa Hart and husband Charles Hart II of Stanley; a brother, Aldine Cubbage of Stanley; a sister, Lenora P. Williams of Elkton; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Emory, Lester G., Warfield and Mack K. Cubbage; and four sisters, Linda Cubbage, Phyllis J. Gochenour, Celia Elizabeth Turner and Ella Mae Turner.
Services will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
