Elva Mae “Dolly” Sours Jenkins, 90, of Luray, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab.
She was born on February 2, 1936, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Simon Henry Sours and Myrtle Alice Davis Sours.
Dolly worked as a LPN at Hawksbill Assisted Living in Luray, retiring with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Harvest Pentecostal Holiness Church.
On July 31, 1954, she married George Kenneth Jenkins, who died on June 27, 1996.
Dolly is survived by two sons, Kenneth Lee Jenkins of Luray, and George Junior Jenkins and wife Betty Mae of Shenandoah; three grandchildren, Kelly Lang and husband Philip of Luray, Christopher Hepner of Luray, and Misty Howan and husband Randy of Stanley; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sue Smith; two brothers, Ermon “Bill” Sours and Clinton R. Sours; and a sister, Edith M. Gray.
No services are planned at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harvest Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
