Emery Allen Starkey Jr., 45, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
He was born on April 26, 1981, in Fairmont, WV, and was a son of Emery Allen Starkey Sr. of Luray and Judith Marie Hernandez (and husband) of Shenandoah.
Emery’s entire world was his sons and his love of Mustangs.
Emery was a dreamer and was always looking for something better.
In addition to his parents, Emery is survived by two sons, Kenseth Tharpe of Stanley, and Kolson Starkey of Shenandoah; a sister, Leslie Miranda (and husband) of Shenandoah; a niece and nephew, Aaliyah Miranda and Isaiah Miranda; his significant other, Brianna Foltz; and a stepchild, Tinley Lentz.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
