May 17, 1962 — The Esso Standard Oil Company this week awarded the Page Esso Servicenter in Luray first place for having the neatest and cleanest premises among the 12 stations in this district.
Receiving prizes from Esso were Marshall Griffith, manager; Shirley Henry, assistant manager; Glenn Richards and Glen Mayes, part- time attendants.
