Foley appointed

May 21, 1967 — John G. Foley, 35, director of instruction for the Page County Public Schools, has been appointed assistant supervisor of elementary education in the State Department of Education effective July 1, the agency announced this week. A native of Luray, Foley attended the public schools here. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Madison College, and he has taken graduate courses at the University of Virginia. Foley began his career in education as a teacher in the Page County schools in 1951.
