Age 82, Luray, Va.
Freeda Diane Breeden Alger, 82, of Luray, died on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Nov. 28, 1938, in Winchester and was a daughter of the late Kester Wayne “K.W.” Breeden and Neida Frances Richards Sours.
Ms. Alger is survived by a daughter, Veronica Brubaker of Luray; two sons, Brett Alger of Gardners, Pa., and Virgil S. Alger III of Rileyville; a sister, Zelda Buracker of Oklahoma; a half sister, Donna Bowen of Winchester; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Anthony Alger; a sister, Phyllis Owens; and three half sisters, Wanda Staub, Linda Richards and Glenda Dee Hottle.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
