Frymyer retires after 33 years as extension agent

July 30, 1987 — After 33 years of serving the residents of Page County, Extension Agent Arlis Frymyer has decided to call it quits.

Frymyer, 60, announced his intentions of retiring from the post he has held for 21 years to Supervisor Medford “Bill Painter May 29. He will officially leave his post July 31.

His successor, Bill Whittle, a former extension agent from Bedford, will take over duties Aug. 1.
