Gerry Lee Jeffers, 78, of Stanley, Va. passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock.
She was born on May 1, 1943, in Laurel, Miss., and was a daughter of the late Boris Durant and Geraldine Faye Grimes Durant.
On Jan. 20, 1980, Gerry married Alan Jeffers, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Michelle Brown of Baltimore, Md., and Deborah Middendorf of York, Pa.; three brothers, Michael Durant of Baltimore, Md., Daniel Durant of Bedford, Texas, and Steven Durant of Fort Worth, Texas; and a granddaughter, Khara Truelove.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
