May 17, 1962 — Brown’s Gift Shop, Luray’s first, was sold this week to Jim and Helen Bradford, operators of The Little Snack Bar in West Luray.
The purchase included the equipment, stock and the name, which will continue to identify the business at its new location in the cottage next to The Little Snack Bar as soon as redecorating is completed.
Mrs. Brown expressed her appreciation to everyone for the support and patronage she has received during the past 30 years and asked that her old customers continue to support the new owners.
