Age 63, Luray, Va.
Gregory “Greg” Nelson Cave, 63, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on December 20, 1961, in Page County and was a son of the late Nelson Alvin Cave and Lutie Delaney Taylor Cave.
Greg had worked for Asplundh Tree Company as a tree trimmer and climber.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew Cave of Youngstown, Ohio, and Joshua A. Cave of Luray; a daughter, Natalee Paugh of Luray; four brothers, Terry Mayes of Stanley, Roger Taylor of Stanardsville, Melvin Cave of Madison, and David Cave of Luray; four sisters, Brenda Baldwin, Cynthia Cave and Connie Atkins, all of Luray, and Stephanie Short of Stanardsville; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by a son, Joshua G. Cave; and a sister, Trenda Long.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
