Gregory Lee Counts, 62, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was born on July 20, 1963, in Washington, D.C., and was a son of Patricia Parlak Counts of Fredericksburg and the late Sandy Lee Counts.
Gregory was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Luray.
In addition to his mother, Gregory is survived by two daughters, Mary Waybright and husband Michael of Fredericksburg, and Sarah Counts and husband Russell Brown of Middletown; a brother, James Darrell Counts and wife Catherine Counts of Stafford; and two grandchildren, Colson Waybright and Sophie Waybright, both of Fredericksburg.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Father Edwin Perez.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
