June 27, 1958 — About $250 damage was done to the Plymouth automobile of ex-Luray Principal Hugh Nolen on Monday night when vandals cut tires, threw walnut varnish on the paint and smashed in the windshield. Evidently the automobile in which the hoodlums wee riding had been parked on Deford Avenue in the rear of the home of C.G. Mason. Drops of varnish were found on the driveway at the Mason home.
