Peg leg

Luray panoramic

June 28, 1908 — Six years ago Mr. I.H. Cameron sawed a block for a wooden leg for Mr. G.F. Foster, at Mountain View, this county. It happened that the block was large enough for two legs, when Mr. Cameron laid aside the other block, remarking that some other fellow might want a peg leg some day. Today Mr. Cameron is wearing a leg made from this block, having lost a leg last fall by a train running over him.
