February 14, 1964 — Several hundred brochures will be mailed this week to prospective charter members of a co-operative golf and country club for Luray.
Mayor Fred Walker, who is chairman of the committee, said that other brochures would be mailed as soon as possible to people in all three Page County towns and some in adjoining counties.
Meanwhile following a meeting of the Luray Golf and Country Club Committee held Tuesday it was announced that many memberships have already been subscribed and $8,000 collected.
