Age 94, Glen Burnie, Md.
Jean Elizabeth Campbell Hopkins, 94, of Glen Burnie, Md., died on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Charter Senior Living of Columbia in Columbia, Md. She was born on May 15, 1927, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Clay Campbell and Polly Stroupe Campbell.
Mrs. Hopkins had worked as a secretary at Prince George Middle School.
On Feb. 8, 1947, she married Charles Luther Hopkins, who died on Dec. 28, 2008.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Jean VanderVlite of Glen Burnie, Md.; a son, Gary Allen Hopkins of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Thelma Smith of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Catherine Hoak; and a brother, Charles Campbell.
Services will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
