Before heading full throttle into basketball season, it is only fitting to throw one more “shout out” to the best all-around football player in the county…Luray High School junior Brady Jenkins recently earned All-Region B honors as both an offensive and defensive player. After leading the Bulldogs in both rushing and passing, Jenkins was selected as a first team, all-purpose offense honoree. He earned second team honors on defense as a linebacker.

Two of Jenkins’ teammates earned All-Region B honors as well — LHS senior Landen Dahnert earned a spot on the second team as a defensive end, while junior Kenny Frye was a second team selection as an all-purpose defensive player. Frye and Jenkins combined for one of the best linebacking duos in the region.
