Jennifer Marie Struder passed away the evening of Thursday, December 15, 2022, after a courageous 18-month battle with ovarian cancer. As she left this world, she was embraced by the love of her family.
Jennifer grew up in Northern Virginia with the love of all her family and friends. A stubborn but beautiful soul, she moved multiple times throughout her life. In 2020, she and her fiancé moved to a beautiful home surrounded by hydrangeas and their love for one another, to be close to Kendall’s parents, R. Kendall and Sandy McAlister, his sister Hollie and nephew Brayden McAlister.
She is survived by her fiancé Kendall L. McAlister, her parents Frank and Brenda Struder, stepfather Steve Sims, children Baileigh, Delaney, Gracie, Lilly, Ashley, and Trey, siblings Matthew, Caroline, Danielle, Jeb, and Kalisa, and her grandchild Charlotte.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother Karla Sims, her grandparents Raymond and Caroline Drewry, Clarence and Virginia Struder, and her sister Korilyn Struder.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, with funeral services at 12 p.m. at the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church in Stanley, Va. with Pastor Randy Miller officiating. Internment will follow by immediate family.
The family will then return to the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church to enjoy time and refreshments with friends and family.
