Juanita Christophine Miller “Chris” Goode, 92, of Luray, Va. died Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Skyview Springs Nursing & Rehab. She was born May 3, 1930 in Luray, and was the daughter of the late Harry Cletus and Viola (Beahm) Miller.
On April 3, 1954 she married William “Jack” Goode, who died Oct 14, 2002.
She was a member of the Morning Star Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol L. Chambers of Inwood, West Virginia; a special friend, Joe Printz of Luray; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Campbell; a sister, Doris A. Fox; and six brothers, Harry C. Miller Jr., James L. Miller, Richard P. Miller, Robert L. Miller, Garland Randolph Miller and William “Hot Shot” Miller.
The family will receive friends at Morning Star Lutheran Church on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 1 to 2 p.m., with a funeral service at 2 p.m.
