John Edward Mullins, 89, of Woodstock, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Newton D. Baker VA Center in Martinsburg, WV.
He was born on October 7, 1936, in Neon, KY, and was a son of the late John Henry Roberts Mullins and Orpah Georgia West Mullins.
John was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as a Naval officer and medic.
He is survived by two daughters, Joanne Shank of Mount Jackson, and Melanie Howard of Maryland; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Edwards; a granddaughter, Jennifer Atwood; and several siblings.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
