Johnson wins cross country tri-meet

Luray High School freshman Davey Johnson finished first overall at a tri-meet in cross country on Sept. 29, and lead the Bulldogs to a team title at the Bull Run District meet. Johnson posted a time of 18:03, as Luray claimed four of the top five positions.

In a strong performance by Luray, Conner Janney, Calder Liscomb and Josh Nuckols also finished among the top five at the cross country meet.

In the girls cross country race on Sept. 29, Luray was lead by Lele Warrick, who finished fourth with a time of 24:20.
