TOWN OF STANLEY
PUBLIC HEARING
SPECIAL USE PERMIT
Notice is hearby given that the Stanley Town Council and the Stanley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Stanley Fire Department Social Hall, 190 East Main Street for the purpose of considering the following request.
A request from Brian and Julie Ortega, 218 Cubbage Road, Stanley, Virgnia for a Special Use Permit that would allow the operation of a Short-Term Rental as allowed under Section 215.56, 215.45A and 215.12 of the Town Code. The property is described as parcel 71A2-A-60 and is zoned Medium Density Residential.
The property is bounded on the West by Terry and Opal Cubbage, Robert adn Margaret Wade, on the South by Rosemary Comer, on the East by Norfolk Southern Railroad and on the North by Bobby and Deborah Fox.
Citizens of the Town of Stanley are encouraged to attend the hearing and express their view and comments. Anyone unable to make the meeting may leave written comments at the Stanley Town Office, 278 East Main Street or by email at tpettit@townofstanley.com
