NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF SHENANDOAH
TOWN COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION
SPECIAL USE PERMIT REQUEST
Pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 Code of Virginia, as amended, the joint public hearing originally scheduled for February 11, 2025 has been rescheduled by the Shenandoah Town Council and the Shenandoah Planning Commission, and will now be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., in the Town Hall, 426 First Street, Shenandoah, Virginia, to consider the following Special Use Permit Request being presented by:
Prabhasa & Rudrani Ishaya who own a parcel of property located at 411 Fourth Street, Shenandoah, Virginia, identified as being tax map number 102A3-1-I-14. The applicants, Mr. & Mrs. Ishaya, are requesting a special use permit to be granted, on the above referenced property, to allow for a home occupation towing business, as provided for in the Code of the Town of Shenandoah, Section 50-112. The density range in this area is high.
Citizens are encouraged to attend this public hearing to express their views.
Copies of the request and the Code of the Town of Shenandoah are available for examination in the Shenandoah Town Hall, 426 First Street, Shenandoah, Virginia, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
NOTE: Any special needs individuals or hearing impaired individuals who need an interpreter must notify the Town Office at least seven (7) days prior to the public hearing.
