Joyce Ann Hitt, 82, of Front Royal, died on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1940, in Fairfax and was a daughter of the late Carlton Lee Clark and Margaret Dawson Clark.
On April 28, 1961, she married John William Hitt, who died on Nov. 21, 2012.
She is survived by two sisters, Judy A. Graczyk of Reading, Pa., and Shirley G. Chambers of Aurora, Colo.; and a brother, James D. Clark of South Carolina.
A private service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
