Junior Cornielus Lucas, 79, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on February 9, 1944, in Stanley and was a son of the late Russell Levi Lucas and Edda Virginia Lucas.
Junior is survived by four sisters, Judith Lucas, Margaret Moore, Stella Miller and Josephine Lucas O’Neill, all of Stanley; and six brothers, Kenneth, Bruce, Levi and Nelson Lucas, all of Stanley, Dale Lucas of Strasburg, and Leroy Lucas of Luray.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry, Earl, Gary and Michael Lucas Sr.; and two sisters, Ethel Lucas and Patricia Lucas.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 9, at the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church in Stanley by Pastor Jack Campbell. Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
