April 13, 1967 — Miss Cheryl Keyser, 18-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Keyser, and sponsored by the Fox Body Shop, was crowned Miss Luray of 1967 Saturday, April 8, at Luray High School by last year’s winner, Miss Janet Spitler.
Miss Keyser, a brunette wore a lovely pink gown.
First runner-up, Miss Juanita Woodward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Woodward, also an 18-year-old brunette, wore a gown of white over pink.
Second runner-up was 17-year-old Shirley Waters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Waters, a blond also wearing pink and white.
