Lewin Harvey “Michael” “LB” Boston III, 68, of Cape Cod, Mass., passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022. He was born on April 13, 1954, in Washington, D.C., but was raised in Massachusetts, which he loved. He has lived in Luray, Va. with his family since 2011.
He is survived by his mother Joan Pittington; his wife of 21 years, Dantia Boston; sisters Cassandra Boston and Melody McKinley; brothers Gary Boston (Mary) and Melvin Graves (Erica); daughter Mariah Boston; son Cochise Morris Boston; adopted daughters Danthya Archbold and Essence Morris; and five adopted grandchildren.
A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, 2022 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 8310 Turning Leaf Lane, McLean, VA 22102.
The family will receive friends during the viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place after the service at Historic Pleasant Grove Church, 8700 Lewinsville Rd., McLean, VA 22102 — followed by the Repast at the McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside AveMcLean, VA 22101.
Arrangements are being handled by Bianchi Funeral Service in Washington, D.C.
