LHS honors spring athletes

LURAY, June 2 — The Luray High School athletics department recognized award winners in its spring sports on Sunday, June 2 at the LHS auditorium. A total of 22 awards were handed out among 23 athletes competing on six teams in four sports.

Girls Track

• MVP – Annah Whitmer
• Most Dedicated – Reese Fitton
• Most Improved – Briana Plum

Boys Track

• MVP – James Farrow
• Most Dedicated – Hunter Kibler, Davey Johnson
• Most Improved – Quintyn McNeal
• Gold “L” – Austin Lam

Girls Soccer

• MVP – Summer Forder
• Most Dedicated – Savannah Owens, Kate Taglauer
• Most Improved – Gracie Embry
• Gold “L” – Summer Forder, Hazel Parlett, Savannah Owens

Baseball
