March 18, 1965 — Work is progressing nicely on the Stanley Lions float being prepared for the Apple Blossom Parade. Float chairman Carroll Shuler reports that the float has been redesigned and will be redecorated this year.

This float, more than 50 feet long, has been a prize winner three years in a row and Lion Shuler promises that it will be even better this year.

In addition to the Apple Blossom Parade, the float takes part in local parades, having placed first in the Page Valley Agricultural and Industrial Fair in 1964.
