STANLEY — Magnetic Lodge #184 A.F. & A.M. recently made a donation to Stanley Elementary School to help provide needed assistance to local students. The donation will be used by the school to help students who may need essential items. In particular, the funds will help the school purchase shoes for children whose families may be unable to provide them.
The donation is part of Magnetic Lodge #184’s ongoing involvement in the local community. Chartered in 1875, the Lodge has been a part of Stanley for more than 150 years and has a long history of supporting community organizations and charitable causes.
The Lodge’s contribution will provide a practical benefit to local children and families, helping ensure that students have something as basic as a properly fitting pair of shoes.
