Lucas hits for 21 on Senior Night, headed to EMU next year

Page County High School senior guard Caris Lucas, posted a game-high 21 points in a Senior Night victory over East Rockingham on Tuesday. The Panthers came away with a 44-39 Bull Run District victory that moved them to 6-5 in the district and 8-8 overall.

Lucas is in her fourth year of varsity basketball at PCHS. Next fall, she will be playing basketball for Eastern Mennonite University in the NCAA Division III Old Dominion Athletic Conference. While in Harrisonburg, Lucas will play under head coach Jenny Logan, who ranks second on the all-time scoring list at Luray High School.
