Age 93, Luray, Va.
Lucius Lyman Sargent, 93, of Luray, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Hawksbill Assisted Living.
He was born on May 23, 1926, in Virginia and was a son of the late Lester Lyman Sargent and Annie Thornhill Sargent.
Lucius was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as an electronic technician for Harry Diamond Laboratories, part of the U.S. Army Research Lab.
He is survived by a niece, Linda K. Curtis; two nephews, David A. Sargent and Donald L. Sargent; three great nieces, Rebecca A. Curtis, Michelle S. Brusca and Monica K. Sargent; a great nephew, Michael D. Sargent; one great great niece, Scarlett Sargent; and a great great nephew, Leander Brusca. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Sargent.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Md.
Arrangements are in the caring hands of The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
