Mary Susan Good Bailey, 85, of Stanley, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020, at her home.
Mary was born on September 6, 1934, in Stanley, the daughter of the late Gilbert Good and Mattie Stoneberger Good.
She was married to the late Owen Milton Bailey and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her five children, Charles Bailey of Stanley, Sandy Pettit and husband Leroy of Stanley, Stewart Bailey and Mindi Carroll of Stanley, Debbie Donelson of Stanley, and Teresa Taylor and husband Keith of New Market.
Also surviving Mary are her grandchildren, Brandy DeMarco Bailey, Chasity Combs and husband Chris, John Sours and wife Bridget, Jason Sours, Whitney Dinges and husband Jordan, Brandon Donelson, Shane Taylor and wife Lauren, and Nathan Taylor.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Mary is survived by numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Donelson.
The family will receive friends at the Lighthouse Gospel Church on Thursday, July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 24, at 2 p.m. at the church. Pastors Earl Painter and Doug Gochenour will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
