QUICKSBURG, Jan. 27 — The Page County Panthers remain near the top of the Bull Run District standings after a 20-point win over Stonewall Jackson Wednesday night on the road, 60-40.
The Panthers were lead by senior Canaan Pierce with 24 points and 13 rebounds on the night. Junior Ricky Campbell added 11 points, followed by Dylan Hensley with 10.
Page County moves to 7-1 on the 2021 season and will travel to Luray Thursday night to take on their cross-county rivals.
Luray will enter tomorrow night’s rivalry with only two games under their belt — a Jan. 9 loss to Stonewall Jackson on the road, 54-49, and Wednesday night’s road game at Strasburg (results not available).
